My little Miracle, Chloe!

I have never written a blog but I am overwhelmed with the need to share my story and hope it finds people who can benefit from my experiences.  So as I sit and wonder where to begin, I figured my first blog should introduce you to the little miracle I will be writing about, Chloe.  Chloe’s journey into this world took a lot of work by a lot of people, but mostly it took a lot of hope and faith.  Let me make a LONG story short and I will write about all these experiences in greater detail in future blogs.

26 Weeks

Baby G as we called her before she had a definte name was due August 28th 2011, never did I expect her to come THIS early!! :) On May 28th 2011 I was in between flights in Portland, Oregon on my way to Maryland where I was moving to stay with my Dad. Sitting in the airport I suddenly felt something strange so I went to the bathroom and I noticed that I was bleeding heavily. Knowing that this was NOT normal I got ahold of airport security immediately and they rushed me to the hospital. I arrived at the hospital and was put on bed rest. I couldn't get up for anything and it wasn't fun. My water had broke and I was having contractions. The Doctor and nurses were doing everything they possibly could to keep Miss Chloe from coming early and the plan was if my contractions stopped within the next 48 hours than I would be on bed rest until at least 34 weeks and then if she came, well she'd be alot more healthier. Needless to say that didn't happen :(

Monday night I was so heavily sedated all I remember is nurses and the Doctor coming in and out of my room, I had to get a blood tranfusion and then in the early morning of May 31st 2011 at exactly 8:50AM Chloe Lyn Denyce Wilson was born 13 weeks early. Weighing 1.10 oz and 13.3" long my little miracle baby had arrived.

I was so overwhelmed with everything that had happened that it just did not seem real. My first child, three months early... I couldn't wrap my head around it. Chloe had to go straight into NICU. She is exactly one week old today and doing amazing! She lost weight after she was delivered as do all babies and is now 1lb 11oz. She is on a CPAP machine which is for her breathing and when she is taken off it to be cleaned up she does well with her breathing! She has started to cry :) and opening her eyes all the time! I got to hold her two days after she was born and I can't explain the feeling I got when she was handed to me and I finally got to hold my little miracle baby! I have gotten ALOT of support from friends and family and friends of friends and I want to say THANK YOU! Because without the support I don't know how I'd be doing right now!!:):):) Miss Chloe thanks you too for all the prayers, keep them coming!

I will not be able to post daily but will try my best to do it weekly or at least monthly.
